The Most Important Question Ever Asked
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
A few weeks ago, Eric was talking to someone about his faith and he asked her where she was on her faith journey. She paused. "I have so many questions," she finally replied. "So many questions for God."
That resonates with all of us -- those beginning the journey and those far along the path with God. But the most important question ever asked is posed to us from the Lord Himself. And our answer determines everything about the rest of our lives and our eternity.
Join us as we continue our study in Matthew 16 and see Jesus pose the question and Peter's answer.

But between the miracle of feeding the second multitude and the sputtering faith of the disciples, something occurred that affected them, even though they were unaware. The same thing happens to us. The Father Trains His Children
Sunday Sep 12, 2021
Sunday Sep 12, 2021
Fewer young people are identifying as Bible-believing followers of Jesus. Christians need to make some radical shifts in how we think about training up the next generation because what we've been doing isn't working. Some 70-80% of kids raised in Christian homes walk away from the faith by the end of their freshman year of college. Fortunately, we have a perfect example to learn from in our Heavenly Father.
This Sunday we will look at how God fathered His children and see what needs to change in how we are raising up the next generation to follow Jesus. This will be a great sermon for singles, young people, parents, and older folks alike. We all have much to learn and a part to play in helping the next generation find and follow Jesus.

In Matthew 15, Jesus has another run-in with the Pharisees and this time he calls them out for their hypocrisy. Jesus rebukes them for talking a big talk, but not really loving God at all. How did they get to this place -- going through the motions of religion without a heart that burned for God? And how does the very same thing happen to us? We'll learn three big lessons from this passage that can guard us from accidentally becoming Pharisees ourselves.

His Love Did Not Grow Cold
Monday Aug 16, 2021

This Sunday we see what happens when Jesus gets word that his cousin, John the Baptist, has been murdered. Instead of responding with rage or even giving up on sinful humanity, we see Jesus respond in a surprising way. The sinfulness of those around Jesus did not smother the flame of his love for sinners. Join us Sunday as we peer into the heart of the Savior and learn to love the way he loved.
