Have you ever wondered to yourself what God’s house would look like? Would He have furniture? Would there be food? Join us this Sunday as we explore how God’s presence dwelled with His people in Exodus—and how He dwells with us now! Exodus 25-31

We’ve been studying Exodus for the last few months and we’ve seen the institution of a covenant- the Mosaic Covenant, the Covenant of Law, or the Old Covenant as the writer of Hebrews calls it. Hebrews tells us that this Old Covenant was not faultless and that it’s now obsolete, replaced by the New Covenant. This week we'll look at the New Covenant and see what's so new about it.

Now that God has presented His covenant and Israel has confirmed it, we turn to God’s instruction for the tabernacle. In the midst of these specific guidelines is a significant theme in the Bible—God’s desire to dwell with His people. This Sunday we will study why this is important for the Israelites and how it points us to God’s ultimate plan. Exodus 25

This Sunday, as we continue our study of Exodus, we will get a special glimpse into several major themes of the Bible. These themes will help us answer important questions: What is God’s goal in the book of Exodus? How do God’s people reach that goal? And how do we reach that goal today? Exodus 24

Last Sunday, we studied God’s giving of the Ten Commandments to Israel so they might know Him and turn from their sin. This week, we will see how Israel’s relationship with God directly shapes how they treat one another. An important lesson emerges: right worship of God is demonstrated through just treatment of others. Exodus 20:22-23:33

This Sunday we will continue in our sermon series in Exodus studying how God invites Israel into relationship with Him through the giving of the Ten Commandments. As thunder, fire, and smoke surround the mountain, the people respond with awe and fear, recognizing the seriousness of standing before a holy God. This passage shows us both God’s righteous standards and His gracious invitation to draw near to Him through reverent obedience. Exodus 20:1-21

This week we jump back into Exodus and look at the people of Israel coming into the presence of God. It is a fearful encounter that highlights the incompatibility of the people and their God. What is God trying to teach them about himself and how should we respond? Come this Sunday and find out!

As 2025 closes out and we look forward to 2026, we think it's useful for us at New King to understand God's purpose.  If we know His purpose then we'll better know how to live as Christians in 2026 and beyond.  So this week we'll look at four things- four purposes- that God defines in the book of Ephesians.  These are God's Ultimate Purpose, God's Purpose for the Church, God's Purpose for Church Leaders and finally, God's Purpose for Christians. 

This Christmas we celebrate the reality that Jesus is Immanuel, God with us, and focus on how that truth changes everything. 

This Sunday is the final Sunday of our Advent series from Isaiah 9:6: “His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” On this final week, we will focus on the fourth title, Prince of Peace. We will see that Jesus came to give the world peace with God, peace with each other, and peace in our hearts.
