Advent Series: The Wonderful Counselor

This Sunday, we're starting our Advent series based on the famous passage in Isaiah 9.  "His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Philippians Series: The Humility of Christ

As we continue our mission and values sermon series we come to Philippians 2. In this chapter Paul will encourage his readers to pursue unity through having the same mindset. To motivate the believers to unity through humility he points them to the ultimate example of self-sacrificial service: Jesus Christ. Philippians: Growing in Christ

Exodus: In the Wilderness with Jesus

This week we are taking a break from our study in Exodus by looking at Jesus temptation in the wilderness. These verses show how even though Israel gave in to temptation in the wilderness Jesus remains faithful! Exodus: A Reunion in the Wilderness

As we continue our study of the book of Exodus we come to chapter 18, where Moses meets back with his father in-law Jethro who praises the Lord for His redemption of Israel and imparts valuable instruction. We hope you will join us Sunday as we study the importance of these verses; how they point us to Jesus; and how God wants to use us in His body! (Exodus 18)

Exodus: The Lord is My Banner

This week in our study of Exodus the Israelites are attacked by another nation called the Amalekites. Will Israel prevail against this ambush? Will the Lord protect His people? We will see that the Lord will not only help them win this victory but also give them hope for future battles.

Exodus: Thirsty in the Desert

How do you respond to being thirsty? It's one thing to be "hangry"- angry over not eating- we saw that last week in Exodus 16. And we did see thirst already in Exodus 15. The people grumbled in both cases. Now thirst comes back and the people not only grumble, but they take it up a notch and quarrel with Moses. This story is really about what happens when we suffer trials- when God tests us. Come this week to see how the Israelites respond and how it relates to us today. Exodus 17:1-7.

Exodus: Manna in the Wilderness

This week we are continuing our study of Exodus where we will see the Lord continue to test His people in the wilderness. Here we will see how the people’s grumbling is evidence of their lack of trust in God. Despite how the people are responding in the midst of doubt God still provides for His people’s needs. Ultimately we will learn that life and satisfaction comes from God and His word. (Exodus 16)

Exodus: Redeemed… Now What?

Last week we saw the celebration of God's miraculous delivery of his people from Egypt. As they begin their journey towards the land that God promised them, it becomes clear that, although they are now redeemed, they will struggle to overcome their bitter experience in Egypt and learn to trust and desire God. This week we will see how God can bring healing to our soul and turn bitter experiences into spiritual sustenance. Exodus 15:22-27
